I now know more about fonts that I ever wanted to know especially how Microsoft fonts fit into the Mac picture. One customer had issues with a critical branding font that installs fine on everyone else’s Macbook but not theirs. When things go wrong – they can sometimes really go wrong. It’s going to take me some time to extract and install each of them.Macs are not perfect even though one’s productivity is much higher with one. I could just hug you!!! I don’t know if I will get it all done in time, but I’m sure trying. I had thought the ones I’d downloaded from the app, that said FREE, were FREE!! Nope, not when you are no longer a paying subscriber. Then I got hit with ‘you need to pay for this’.

Then I went to cut it all tonight and try and get them all done by Christmas. It had taken me weeks to figure out through much trial and error to get everything just perfect. I am making them wooden signs with wood I repurposed with pallets, sanded down the pieces I cut, and put them together.

So now I am starting over, and have been crying because I don’t want to let my little grandsons down by not giving them anything for Christmas. So then all of the things I had made on the app are useless because they want to charge me at least $10 for each font I used. I have been SOOO excited to use it, but then my SSI got tight and I couldn’t afford the monthly subscription. I was blessed by the MS Foundation, with their Better Life program, and a Cricut Explore Air 2. Oh Chris, I thank the Lord for you!! I can’t tell you all the tears that have fallen, trying to get this all figured out.
